Fivenson DermatologyLoren is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and currently licensed to practice in the state of Michigan. Loren began her career as a nurse at the University of Michigan Hospital in 2013, where she treated patients in an acute care setting. She then went on to obtain a master’s degree in nursing from Michigan State University.
As a nurse practitioner, Loren ultimately found her passion in dermatology. She loves all aspects of general dermatology and learning about complex medical dermatology from Dr. Fivenson, one of Michigan’s complex medical dermatology experts. She sees patients with acne, warts, rashes, psoriasis, eczema, and enjoys doing full body checks for skin cancer.
While not at work, Loren enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new restaurants, and traveling. She has become a valuable member of the Fivenson Dermatology team and is looking forward to meeting new and established patients.
Loren has also been part of the lead team in our office's "green team" and has helped make all the staff aware of simple steps to save energy through a novel service we are part of called My Green Doctor. This has helped us to recycle more, waste less, eat healthier, and (hopefully) be examples to others.
